HIP Strength Training Class at SLAC - July 10

Strength Training On Your Own at Home

Want to increase your energy, your metabolism, and tone up your muscles? If so, you may want to start a strength training program, so easy you can even do it at home. This class, led by HIP Fitness Coordinator Jerrie Thurman, covers what you need to know to create a basic strength training program. It will cover what equipment you need to train at home and how to get started with an effective strength building and muscle conditioning program. Recommended stretches, injury prevention, and other specific questions raised by participants will be addressed in this workshop. Come dressed in casual clothes and bring a towel or mat.
