This is a major revision of an existing chapter.

The SLAC Environment, Safety, and Health Manual (SLAC-I-720-0A29Z-001-R023) is being revised.

Chapter 13, ?Traffic and Vehicular Safety?, has been revised extensively and incorporates information that has heretofore existed in multiple safety and security documents. This chapter has been written to reflect more accurately the general rules of the road contained in the California Vehicle Code and then points clearly to driving safety rules that are unique to SLAC.

This revision contains no new requirements. Exhibits have been provided where procedures and process need to be explained more fully.

This document replaces the existing Chapter 13, ?Traffic and Vehicular Safety?, published in January 1996.
