SPRING 2007 WORKSHOPS "HOSTILE, BULLYING, AND INTIMIDATING BEHAVIOR AT WORK" This presentation will review different types of hostile behaviors, the effects of these behaviors and ways to potentially manage these types of situations. There will also be a review of SLAC policies and resources to assist with managing hostility in the workplace. WHEN: 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 WHERE: SLAC's Panofsky Auditorium PRESENTERS: David Rasch, PhD, Ombuds, Stanford University, and Rosan Gomperts, LCSW, Director of the Faculty Staff Help Center "A PARENT'S GUIDE TO INTERNET AWARENESS & SAFETY" The internet is a fabulous learning tool for the entire family. It does, however, have its inherent dangers, which include the potential for criminal activity by individuals seeking out unsuspecting children and teens. Parents need to be aware of the dangers of the internet and learn how to safeguard their children and teens.
