The Purchasing Department has recently posted on its homepage information on how a purchase requisition is turned into a purchase order. This information is provided to allow requestors to better understand the process a requisition must go through before a purchase order is awarded and what can impact this process along its path. Also posted are the standard lead times for a requisition to be processed once it is received in Purchasing via Peoplesoft.
