The SLAC Environment, Safety, and Health Manual (SLAC-I-720-0A29Z-001-R023) is being revised.

This Chapter 17, ?Hazardous Waste?, has been revised to

• To better define hazardous waste management guidelines/procedures


• To clarify on-site hazardous waste transportation guidelines


• To better define various hazardous waste types generated at SLAC


• To further clarify roles and responsibilities including UTRs and subcontractors

This document replaces the existing Chapter 17, ?Hazardous Waste?, published in November 1998.
