WorkLife Office Celebrates Work and Family Month at SLAC This Friday

In honor of National Work and Family Month at Stanford, the WorkLife Office has planned a variety of activities highlighting the services and programs available to support your full engagement in work and life. Here are just a few:

Work and Family Month "KickOff Celebrations" from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Stop by one of the celebrations for refreshments, activities, resources (child care, elder care, quality of life) and more. Sign up for special prizes. Don't miss it!

Wednesday, Oct. 4th in Oak West, Tresidder Union
Friday, Oct. 6th in the breezeway near the SLAC cafeteria
Monday, Oct. 9th in H3210 at the Stanford Hospital.

Brown Bag seminars on topics such as Emergency & Back-Up Child Care, Children, Media & CommonSense, and Hiring In-Home Help for Elders.

Open House and Ice Cream Social at the Escondido WorkLife Office and Resource Center, Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 6 to 7:30 pm.

Facilitated discussion "What is Work Life to You"? We want to know. If you can't attend anything else, please don't miss this! This event will be on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006 from 12-1 pm in the Assembly Room at the Bechtel International Center.
