Use up your STAP funds for this year (9/1-8/31) and enjoy a mid-day walk!
Walk for Wellness Enjoy a quick time out from office tensions and learn how to rejuvenate, refresh, and relax yourself for a more productive and enjoyable workday. During this academic and experiential class the instructor, Tia Rich, will integrate many practical strategies for reducing back injuries as well as managing workday stress. Class includes a warm-up, brisk walking, strength exercises using elastic resistance bands, and a cool down. You'll receive a great workout along with some great historical facts about Stanford from Tia. Class fee includes: The Walking Deck, Stepping Out with Stanford 10-week online program (a $40 value), and a set of elastic resistance bands. (Register for walk-03a if you do not want the materials.)
