Deaths
| John Jasberg | John Jasberg, 89, died Dec. 23 after a long illness. He was employed at SLAC from its opening in 1962 until his retirement in 1986. He also enjoyed gardening and keeping cars and appliances in running order. Music and astronomy were lifelong interests. Jasberg is survived by Alberta, his wife of 53 years; his children, Hilda, Marta, Carla and John; five grandchildren; and his brothers, Donald and Pete Jasberg. |
