LCLS Progress Steps Up

 First Vacuum Chambers in the Beam Transport Hall

A two-person crew uses a laser to align components in the Beam Transport Hall. A section of LCLS hardware in the BTH with the vacuum chamber (beam pipe) installed. The yellow support pedestals, along with quadrupole magnets and vacuum chamber (beam pipe), constitute the linac-to-undulator section of the LCLS.
