Thanking Jonathan Dorfan

Jonathan has done so much for us—let's show him our appreciation. Join your friends and colleagues today at 1:30 p.m. to congratulate Jonathan and celebrate his exceptional eight-year tenure as SLAC Director. The celebration will be held on SLAC's main quad, and will be followed by refreshments and live music performed by a saxophone quartet.

The ceremony will begin with an introduction by SLAC Acting Director Persis Drell and remarks by Stanford President John Hennessy. Jonathan will then address the gathering. Following the official part of the event, a line will be formed so we all have the opportunity to personally wish Jonathan well. You also will be able to write personal messages of thanks and congratulations into a book that will later be presented to Jonathan.

Don't miss this very special event. Jonathan has been instrumental in fostering the growth and development of the laboratory, and this is the ideal opportunity to show our thanks and appreciation for his outstanding leadership, dedication and vision.
